Ba-Wan Tapioca Meatball, a traditional street food from Changhua, Taiwan.
A fine-tuned mixture of shiitake mushroom, bamboo shoots and juicy pork meat, wrapped in a soft by chewy tapioca wrapper, the meatball on its own is a umami bomb filled with freshness and savoury flavours.
Don’t forget to top it up with our housemade Sweet Chilli bean sauce and Ginger Garlic sauce. Add a sprinkle of chopped coriander if you happen to have some at home, sit tight and get tele-transported to the idyllic atmosphere in the south of Taiwan.
Taste and texture better than I expected!
I like it not oily and so yummy serve with the sauces!
